As many of you know, I eat via the Paleo lifestyle plan. But my 15 year old son is a true carnivore! He eats very healthy and also works out very hard...the gym, Track and Field and Football. He is in fantastic physical condition. Each day before his workouts, he has been eating one of these bars. It has given him the energy he needs and he loves the taste. I thought I would share some of the info on them. If you are interested in trying them, please contact Christine Lynch at |

Let's do this together! Many of you have contacted me about starting a Paleo lifestyle, but are scared or intimidated to try it. For those of you who have seen me, the results are obvious on the outside. I have lost only 17 pounds, but I lost three dress sizes and really leaned out. The one thing you don't see are the differences to me inside! I feel incredible and more energetic than ever. I am sleeping better. My stomach no longer bothers me (unless I eat off plan). |

Many of you are aware that I started to change my diet based upon the Paleo Eating Plan, or the Caveman Diet. I thought I would find it restrictive and hard to maintain high energy levels. Being a vegetarian didn't help me believe that I could successfully eat this way. I decided to keep Morningstar Farms and Boca Burgers in my diet. I also decided that if the cavemen knew of a way to make wine....they would have enjoyed it. SO I kept it in my plan too. After all, you have to have some vice. |

Last month, I added a page to the site...Walk with Purpose. I decided to take my own advice and started using a pedometer on January 10th. My destination...Napa, of course! My goal is to make it there by the end of the year. I am writing a travel journal of my walk to Napa. I want to include postcards and info about where I am at the end of each month. I plan to include little stories (imagination!!!) as if I had really ended up at that town/city. I am going to give it to my niece as a gift at the end of the year. |
